Gentiles

So many are confused about AD 70 and the verses about the statue (Dan. 2:34, 35, 44, 45) make it clear that it is at Christ’s 2nd Coming that the “times of the Gentiles” (Luke 21:24) are forcefully ended.

Daniel received a timeline for Israel from Gabriel and there are gaps or spaces between the grouping of years. 49 years, 434 years (a total of 483 years or 69 weeks), and then 7 years (1 week). We are living in the gap between Christ riding into Jerusalem and the 7 years of Tribulation. We live during the dispensation of grace (Eph. 3:2) which is a period of about 2,000 years inserted in the indicated gap on the legs of the statue.

There had been 70 years to cleanse the land (Jer. 29:10; 2 Chron. 36:21; Zech. 7:5) and then Daniel received the timeline of 490 years to cleanse the people of Israel before the literal Davidic Israeli kingdom on earth is set up at Christ’s Second Coming (Rev. 19:11, 20:4).

It is true the Roman Empire was in effect from 27 BC to AD 476 (the dispensation of grace began circa AD 35), but careful reading of Daniel shows that the Greek Empire was divided among 4 generals and the Selucid (north) and Ptolemaic (south) occupied Jerusalem at the same time (split) occupied and governed so these two countries became dominant.

We must remember that there are Jews and Gentiles in Prophecy and in Mystery. Today God is saving Gentiles and Jews that believe Paul’s gospel (1 Cor. 15:3, 4) in Mystery (Rom. 16:25), that is why understanding the King James Bible rightly divided (2 Timothy 2:15) is essential.

Christ’s Messianic kingdom on earth believers are not ruling Israel today and the gathering of Israel is at Christ’s Second Coming (Ezek. 36:24-28).

The stone is Christ at His Second Coming.
