The Greek word “antichristos” (แผฮฝฯฮฏฯฯฮนฯฯฮฟฯ) means not only "against Christ" but also "in place of Christ" - a perfect description of papal claims.

Amid all the confusion of earthly powers, Christ remains central. “Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession” (Hebrews 4:14). No pope, priest, or potentate can take His place - for He alone is worthy.
